Random Pictures

I have TONS of schoolwork to do, not to mention some grocery shopping (poor Sydney is completely out of food, and Jason and I are close!)...but instead I'm going to post a couple pics.

A few weeks ago we made shish kabobs with some friends...and then more the next night. Everything on them is from our garden except the meat and tomatoes (because ours were still green at the time...now they're red and SUPER tasty!).


And this next picture is Jason's brother Bryan (with Jason's wonderful Mom) at his graduation last month. He will be our roommate in two weeks!

Reusable Bags

Turns out that those reusable grocery bags that are all the rave these days carry bacterias, molds, etc and need to be washed frequently so users don't get food poisoning. With the increased "water footprint" that brings, as well as faster replacement needs due to wear and tear, are they still better for the environment? Here's the article. I guess that means I should be careful how I reuse my plastic grocery bags too...
