My New Dessert Creation

I've been craving peanut butter recently, so I created my own dessert this week (I'm sure I'm not the first to make this though). Spread peanut butter on half a graham cracker and sprinkle it with chocolate chips. Also I think it goes best with a couple extra chocolate chips to eat on the side. :)

Another great site

A few weeks ago some friends introduced us to hulu.com. You can watch tons of full tv shows for free and for legal. Since I've been home sick for the past couple days (fun weekend for me!), it's been my best friend. The whole season of "Vanished" is on there, and so far I've watched about half of it. I'm hooked.

goodguide.com

Check out this website: Goodguide.com. It's a quick easy way to check the health, environmental, and social performance of tens of thousands of personal care and household cleaning products (I think you'll like this one, Beth!). You can type in a specific product name, or search for the highest rated product of a certain type (such as baby soap or deodorant). It will tell you what harmful ingredients (if any) are found in each product, even those not listed on the labels, how the company treats employees, etc. The site is still in the beta version and other categories (toys, electronics, etc) will be added soon.

This link has a good intro to the idea and site.

Visitors

Since we moved to our new place, we've been able to have lots of visitors. Some welcome, some unexpected (those of the non-human variety). Here's one of those unexpected visitors that Sydney didn't particularly care for.

We had our first overnight visitors test out the new guest room, complete with a bed, thanks to my very generous mom. Jeanelle and her son, Strong, came to visit a few months ago, but this time around, they brought Aaron along for the weekend as well. Jason found Strong the car my sister gave me for my birthday, and he loved it! He played with it all weekend (that's what's in his mouth in the picture).

Our friend Krista was in town too, so she came by for lunch on Saturday. Jeanelle, Krista, and I were good friends in high school.

And one more picture, of Jeannelle, Strong, and me. You can see Strong's face a little better in this one. :)

We had a great time together. Jason grilled fajitas for us, Aaron and Jason put up new shelves in our hall closet and bathroom, which have been WONDERFUL, we all went to the park and threw frisbee, ate sushi for dinner, and rented a movie, but we were too tired to watch it. :) We also had a great time of fellowship together.
