I was looking up the Iron Man competition today (just to see how long it actually is...not because I ever plan on doing it!) and I came across this video of a man doing the Iron Man with his son who has a disability and cannot walk. FYI, the Iron Man is a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride, and finished off with a full marathon (26.2 miles of running).
And I think another video I saw said they've done it 6 times. In this longer video, the father talks about raising his son like any other kid. You should definitely check them out.

I saw the first video this past weekend at a conference. The speaker talked about this father's love for his son really being a picture of Christ's love for his children. So often we want to see ourselves as the one pushing/pulling/pedaling, being the hero, but really we are the ones that are being pushed/pulled/and pedaled. Sometimes we just need to sit back and be the son (or daughter as the case may be). Thanks for posting this.
